How it started…
Nana Foundation was founded by Kinnari Naik. Having participated in voluntary work in Sierra Leone and Malawi since the age of 16, she was inspired to set up a foundation in memory of her beloved Grandmother, fondly known as Nana Naik. Nana Naik was a dedicated childminder for over 35 years and inspired generations of children through her caring and nurturing skills.
The Foundation has ran medical camps across Malawi and is the proud sponsor of Chikondi Orphanage in Lilongwe since 2015.
- We are a group of like-minded individuals who wish to assist in reducing poverty in developing countries by providing education, training and healthcare projects.
- We are all volunteers with no conflict of interest bringing different expertise; medical, education, business and social care.
