Our Story

A Grandmother's Legacy, A Granddaughter's Mission

Nana Foundation was founded by Kinnari Naik, inspired by her early experiences in volunteering and her admiration for her grandmother, Nana Naik.

From the age of 16, Kinnari volunteered in Sierra Leone and Malawi. These experiences helped shape her commitment to providing compassionate medical and social care in communities with limited access to services.

"Nana Naik devoted over 35 years to caring for children as a childminder, nurturing generations through her warmth, patience and unwavering compassion."

These values remain at the very heart of Nana Foundation today. The charity was established in loving memory of Nana Naik, whose legacy of kindness, service and care continues to guide every aspect of our work.
